FANS of bulk shopping have onemore outlet in the Central Valley, withthe opening of a new PriceSmart locationin Tibás, north of San José. The U.S.multinational shopping-club chain alsohas locations in Escazú, southwest ofSan José; Heredia, north of San José; andZapote, in southeastern San José.The Tibás location made headlineseven before the store’s opening, whenpre-Columbian artifacts were found duringexcavation.
