Young Pianists Perform in National Theater

GIFTED pianist and Alajuela native Carlos Quesada, 20, performs tonight in San José’s National Theater as part of a special National Symphony concert featuring young pianists.The winner of national and international piano competitions, Quesada has performed in prestigious recital halls around the world, including New York’s Carnegie Hall, Switzerland’s La Salle Faller and Italy’s Teatro Rossini di Gioia del Colle.The concert is scheduled to start at 8 p.m., and will be under the direction of National Symphony Director Chosei Komatsu.
