President Pacheco Seeks Asian Investors
PRESIDENT Abel Pacheco is visiting Asia this week and next to promote tourism and investment in Costa Rica and examine the possibility of signing a free trade agreement with Japan.The President is first bound for Taiwan to meet with potential investors, according to Casa Presidencial. On Aug. 17, he will travel from Taiwan to Japan, where he will participate in meetings with representatives from the Chamber of Legislators, private sector leaders, Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko.
