Charity Golf Tournament Tees Off on Valentine’s Day

HAVE A HEART: Golfers celebrate Valentine’s Day in style at the Have a HeartCharity Golf Tournament at Hacienda Pinilla Golf Course near Tamarindo, on thenorthern Pacific coast. Now in its fifth year, the annual tournament offers theopportunity to play on the 72-par golf course while helping to raise funds for educationand schools in Villareal, Santa Cruz, the historic city in the northwesternprovince of Guanacaste. The tournament entry fee is $99 per golfer includinglunch; non-golfers are welcome to attend the luncheon for $10 per person. Theregistration party will take place tomorrow at 7 p.m., in Villa Alegre Bed andBreakfast, owned by event organizers Suzye and Barry Lawson. For more information,call 653-0270.
