Universidad Nacional Renovates Music Building

OFFICIALS from UniversidadNacional (UNA) in Heredia, north of SanJosé, have announced they will completeconstruction of the school’s music facilitiesby December.The new 790-square-meter facilitieswill include soundproof practice roomsand an auditorium, at a cost of$465,089.The renovation is part of an overallupdate of UNA facilities throughoutCosta Rica, including new buildings inthe central Heredia campus, and SouthernZone and Nicoya campuses.The $18 million project is funded bythe Central American Bank for EconomicIntegration (CABEI) and is expected tobe inaugurated by the end of the year.
