BAC San José Opens Branch in La Fortuna

AS part of its ongoing expansionplan, BAC San José has opened a newagency in La Fortuna de San Carlos, atown in north-central Costa Rica popularamong tourists for its proximity to theactive Arenal Volcano.The new agency is located 50 metersnorth of the service station in La Fortunaand is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Fridayand 8 a.m.-noon Saturdays, BAC SanJosé General Manager Gerardo Corralessaid in a statement.Clients can open accounts, obtaincredit and debit cards, pay utility bills,exchange currency, buy travelers’ checks,obtain cash advances, and make depositsand withdrawals, among other services.The agency, which opened Oct. 22, alsohas a kiosk and automatic teller machine.
