Regional Fair to Promote Cooperatives, Small Businesses

THE Northern Zone RegionalCooperatives Union (URCOZON R.L.)will present the Second Annual NorthernZone Cooperative and Small BusinessFair today and tomorrow in the GimnasioSiglo XXI in San Carlos in north-centralCosta Rica.Six state institutions, 19 cooperativesand 34 small and medium businesses willpresent their products and services at theexpo, which is designed to promote theimportance of cooperatives and smallbusinesses and provide information aboutservices available for small businessowners.The fair’s sponsors include theNational Institute of CooperativeDevelopment (INFOCOOP), the dairycooperative Dos Pinos, Banco Nacionaland the Northern Zone Chamber ofCommerce, Industry and Tourism.Exposition stands open at 8 a.m. thismorning, although the fair’s official inaugurationwill take place at 5 p.m. today.The fair ends tomorrow at 10 p.m. Entryis free.
