We, Too, Were Frustrated By Canadian Embassy

Dear Nica Times:

In reference to the letter from David Francis (NT, May 30) from Edmonton, Canada: I also have experienced your frustration with the Canadian Embassy in Guatemala.

My husband of nearly three years has had his application rejected three times for the same reasons you have stated. We own a house with a pool, a car, a motorcycle and a nice piece of land, but this did not help.

Needless to say, we would not walk away from this investment. I had a heart attack last summer and have a letter from my doctor stating that I need assistance traveling. Will this help? I don’t know.
