The US-Canadian land border, the world's longest, and the air border have been closed to non-essential travel since mid-March 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Canadian airlines have agreed to suspend flights to Mexico and Caribbean countries until April 30. Costa Rica is among the countries included by this definition.Â
The United States will require that all international airline passengers to show proof of a negative Covid-19 test before boarding a flight to the country, The Wall Street Journal is reporting.Â
