Dr. Juan Francisco “Paco” Rojas Jr. died Nov. 13, 2022 in Albuquerque, NM at 87. Born May 15, 1935, Alajuela, Costa Rica, he was the son of the late JFR, Sr. and the late Claudia Rojas Cascante. Paco graduated pre-med from Eastern Illinois University in 1958 and was a member of TKE Fraternity. He graduated medical school at Loyola University Chicago specializing in OBGYN in 1963 and married Georgianna Ring.  He practiced 20yrs in Danville, IL, and 15yrs in Albuquerque, NM, where he retired after delivering almost 10,000 babies. An avid opera fan and classical music lover, he was loved by all for his warm and engaging personality. Paco is survived by his wife Georgianna and son John F. Rojas III both of Albuquerque; his daughter Christine Rojas Jett (Monroe) and grandchildren Olivia, Mac & Henry Jett (Lexington, KY); his Sister Maria Elena Rojas Cascante (San Jose, Costa Rica) and nephews Zaqui Ayub Rojas (London, England) and Alonzo Ayub Rojas (Austin, TX).
