Jacó Happenings
Children’s Day at Teatro Jacó: In celebration of Children’s Day on Sept. 1, Teatro Jacó will present “Adios querido Cuco” at 5 p.m. This heartwarming family story of loss, acceptance and starting over is told by birds when the beloved family dog Cuco dies of old age. We follow the young character as she passes through the seven stages of grief and finds renewed joy in starting over with a new puppy.
Bring your kids early at 2:30 p.m. for an acting workshop and learn how to make fun creations that are used on the stage. The cost is 5,000 ($10), which includes the pre-show workshop with the actors, refreshment, cultural act and the play.
Teatro Jacó’s mission is to bring culture and the arts to the communities of Garabito, through theatrical, dance and musical productions, in-school workshops combining professional artists with our local talent. For more information, email info@teatrojaco.com or call 2630-9812.
