La Comida Organica Express was sparked to life by Carlos and Milly Duran and is a five-year sustainability program that seeks to generate 85-90 percent of all food consumed in Talamanca from within the local community.
As Carlos says, “grassroots organic nutrition grows in Talamanca,” and the Express offers a home and community garden food exchange initiative. Carlos and Milly also offer an organic food order and delivery service, which supports a wide network of organic and family-owned farms in the area.
