Jacó Happenings

May 9, 2012

Congratulations to Jacobeños Jair Pérez and Lisbeth Vindas who both won in the third leg of the Costa Rican Federation of Surf Contest held in Esterillos Oeste last month. Jair’s radical surfing was filled with incredible acrobatics that helped secure his win in the final over Gilbert Brown, Maikol Torres and Noe Mar McGonagle.

Lisbeth won the women’s open over Evie Johnstone, Tal Saporta and Emily Gussoni. The fourth leg will be held in Dominical on May 19 and 20 and the fifth leg in Jacó on June 16 and 17. For more information about Costa Rica’s surfing, visit www.surfingcr.net.
