November 23, 2011

The grade school and community of Suirit in Alta Talamanca are seeking support for a project to teach children the importance of art and creativity. The small indigenous school wants to get the kids together Nov. 26 to paint a mural at the school, and needs the following materials for the project: gallons of blue, yellow and white acrylic paint; 250-milliliter containers of acrylic art paint in blue, yellow, red, black, white and purple; 2-inch and 3-inch paintbrushes. Cash donations are also welcome.
