Flamingo/Potrero News
The Country Day School Parent Booster Club sponsored a bingo fundraiser at the Happy Snapper Sept. 9. Eight games were played with super prizes, including a Hibiscus sunset sail for two, Valerie Townley original artwork, Nimbu Spa gift certificate, riding lesson from Amanda Gardner, a chiropractic adjustment and more. Proceeds will support the club’s activities to promote interschool athletic events by providing referees for games, transportation for visiting teams and other resources within the Guanacaste province.
The Surfside and Potrero communities have an online local phone directory accessible at www.surfsidepotrero.net/phdir/phdir.htm. The page lists emergency numbers as well as professional services, businesses and home contact information. Check it out and see who is listed, or list your business. If you are already listed, remember to keep your information up-to-date.
