San Ramón en Acción
In honor of the recent reopening of the University of Costa Rica Regional Museum of San Ramón, the Community Action Alliance will present an informal induction ceremony at the museum on Sept. 23 at 11 a.m. In addition to a tour of the remodeled museum, the ceremony will include educational presentations by curator Roxana Salazar and other honored guests who will speak about the rich history and culture of San Ramón. Due to limited space, RSVPs are requested: mike@styles.com.
The action alliance was honored to present at the recent International Living Seminar in San José. The focus of the presentation was the importance of community and service when selecting your new home or retirement destination in Costa Rica. This message was well received by more than 250 participants considering relocating to Costa Rica. To learn more about volunteerism and some of the projects you can get involved with in your community, visit the Community Action Alliance website at www.actionalliancecr.com.
The recent specialized Survival Spanish Seminars conducted by the alliance in San Ramón have been very successful and received a lot of interest from English speakers in the area. Communities that would like to host the Medical Spanish, Road Survival or other Survival Spanish Seminars may contact Paul Yeatman at pdyeatman@gmail.com or 8919-2710.
