Manuel Antonio/Quepos Tidings
We want to thank Harry Bodaan, owner of La Mansión Inn, for the program he has set up there called Community Affairs Involvement, through which guests can help the community. It has been a huge success in helping our area – not to mention Harry’s personal help, which is always freely given.
A huge construction is under way out at the intersection at the high school, on the way to San José. Although many people were hoping for an Auto Mercado, it is going to be a Maxibodega.
You won’t want to miss the PAWS fundraiser tomorrow, April 9, from 7 to 10 p.m. at La Foresta, near the airport in Quepos. The $25 admission includes live music by Kazira (aka Fuzzy Rojas), food, desserts and two drinks. Proceeds will go toward a mobile spay and neuter clinic. You can buy tickets at the PAWS table at our local feria, by calling 2777-1113, or at the door.
