Manuel Antonio/Quepos Tidings
We have a new attraction in our area, Midworld Costa Rica, a family-run establishment near Cerros, just outside the Quepos-Manuel Antonio area. Located on 460 hectares with nearly five kilometers of private riverfront on the Río Cañas, Midworld offers an array of tours, including a 1,055-meter “Superman” line, a canopy tour and one of the only treetop puzzle courses in the area. All lines, both canopy and Superman, are double-cabled and exceed the latest international safety standards for canopy tours. In addition, clients can tour the amazing scenery on a fully automatic ATV tour. Midworld has plans to expand and add additional tours in the near future, including nature walks, bicycle tours and photography tours. To schedule a tour, call 2777-7181 or e-mail contact@midworld costarica.com, or visit www.midworldcostarica.com for more information.
You won’t want to miss Tuesdays at Raphael’s Terrazas; Los Caciques are playing from 5 to 9 p.m., often with guest musicians sitting in. And on Wednesdays, Dolce Vita in downtown Quepos is having tango nights from 8 to 10 p.m. with Willy and Ana, professional tango dancers from New York.
María Chinchilla celebrated her divorce at La Foresta last Friday with many of her friends.
