The Gold Coast Women’s Group held its first event of the year on Feb. 5 at Katharina Hjelset’s beautiful new El Coconut restaurant in Playa Potrero. Iván Granados of GM Attorneys spoke about Costa Rican laws regarding wills. Corynne Bean of Frijoles Locos Surf and Spa spoke about the benefits of massage, and was joined by Dane McFarland, who gave insights into better eating, and Gregory Casillas, who demonstrated the health benefits of yoga. Terry Anderson of Force One Security and Access Control concluded the morning by discussing personal and home protection. The ladies were treated to a buffet lunch and Patricia Sterman’s Costa Rican style show featuring beautiful models – none other than our own Jean Capezza, Eva Koranyi, Laurie Lawson and Eva Wagner – escorted center stage by Horacio Sterman. The event concluded with a wine tasting provided by Jorge Granados. Throughout the day, the ladies were able to take advantage of personal services provided by Caralee Burton, Laeticia Deweer, Caroline Heaviland, Sandra Nino and Dr. Eduardo Villalobos.
