Costa Rica Coffee Guide

Notes from Puerto Viejo De Talamanca

December 9, 2010

ReciCaribe, the Recycling Association of the South Caribbean, is having its annual meeting Dec. 14 at 3 p.m. in Puerto Viejo’s Casa de la Cultura. All members are encouraged to participate, and new people are always needed. For more information, contact Tirza Morales, ReciCaribe’s secretary, at cocotir2@hotmail.com.

Stacy Lindshield and the folks from the Monkey Bridge Project are going to be replacing the two ladder bridges they have in place in the area to help wildlife cross roads safely. They are looking for someone who’d like to reuse the old materials, which include wire, rope, rigging clips, rubber hose and PVC pipe. For information, contact Stacy at sta_shield@yahoo.com
