Manuel Antonio/Quepos Tidings
Democrats Abroad of Costa Rica urgently seeks someone in the Quepos area to help get U.S. citizens registered to vote.
The group will send U.S. Federal Post Card Applications (FPCAs) and a Voting Assistance Guide to anyone who wants to help with voter registration. The guide contains state-specific requirements as well as the addresses of all local election officials in each state, where the FPCAs must be mailed. If you can help, contact Nelleke Bruyn, Democrats Abroad of Costa Rica chair, at 2279-3553 or 8721-6497.
The local chamber of commerce’s 15th Anniversary Grand Gala Dinner will be held Sept. 10. Everyone is invited. For reservations, call 2777-0749 by Sept. 1.
