The McKee Project Jacó is inviting everyone to its next fundraiser with a silent auction and live music by Chupacabras on Saturday, August 14 at Jacó Taco. The door opens at 5p.m. A $20 contribution includes free dinner, a margarita, dancing and a lot of fun! All proceeds go to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless animals.

The deadline to sign up for the Central Pacific Chamber of Commerce’s Art Prize is Thursday, July 28. Registration cost is ¢10,000 to enter your artwork for the weeklong display of Art in Jacó.
