Manuel Antonio/ Quepos Tidings

June 18, 2010

Kudos to PAWS (Pets of Aguirre Welfare Shelter), our local animal center run by Pam and Bobby D. They are doing an incredible job and deserve all the help they can get from us. If you can adopt a pet, go to their website at www.paws.cr to see the animals available. If you have any old collars, leashes, pet toys or food you don’t need, please donate them to PAWS. They can use anything and everything you can spare.

We want to thank the whole community for its efforts to help restore Manuel Antonio after the freak storm we had recently. It was amazing to see how quickly everyone pitched in to remove the fallen trees and help get everything back to normal.

Happy birthday to all June celebrants, including Pia Martin, Adriana Quesada, Lizbeth Vega, Rocío Pérez, Gabriel Pérez, Nathan Gutiérrez, Janine Licare and Jennifer Rice. By the way, we love announcing birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and other special occasions, so please e-mail us to be included, or send us any other events or news you want see here.
