Tamarindo Talk
The Beach Nuts Theatre Company, which had a successful run over Christmas with the pantomime comedy “Cinderella,” is back at it, with a rendition of “Peter Pan” set to run May 13 to 15 at the TamarindoDiriaBeach and Golf Resort’s outdoor amphitheater. The troupe hopes to repeat the standing-room-only turnout it enjoyed with “Cinderella.”
Once again, audience participation is expected. In other words, if you are in the audience, you are in the show. According to director Paul Belanger, “boos” will ring out as much as “hoorays,” as well as some “ticktocks” for the crocodile.
Corey Hahn will be playing Capt. Hook, with Lori Beckwith as his sidekick, Smee, while August Beckwith will portray Peter Pan. Some talented local children will be playing the other roles.
Tickets cost $15 and are available at Jaime Peligro’s and Papaya Con Leche in Tamarindo and Marie’s Restaurant in Flamingo. For information, call 2653-0270.
