The Puerto Viejo Open surf competition has been moved to tomorrow at Playa Cocles. For more information, contact Beto at betolocks@hotmail.com.

Chile Rojo restaurant will be hosting a benefit concert for the Playa Cocles Lifeguard Program Jan. 31, beginning at 8:30 p.m. The concert will be a showcase of expat musicians who live in the area. There is no cover charge, and ¢1,000 ($1.80) from every drink will go toward the lifeguard program.

This program saves lives. Please support it by attending the benefit or making a donation through the program’s Web site at www.cocles.org.
