I am sad to report the Jan. 10 loss of Marcia Steiner, beloved wife of Ron, during surgery in San José. Marcia lived in Conchal and also Oceanica for a number of years and made many friends in our community.
Our deepest sympathies to Ron and family. Friends and family of Christopher Starbuck will welcome him home for vacation this week. Christopher, who is in the U.S. Coast Guard, is stationed on the icebreaker Polar Star, which recently returned from a three-month deployment in the Arctic Ocean. He is definitely looking forward to seeing a little sunshine.
