Happy Passover
One of the Jewish calendar’s bestknown holidays begins at nightfall April 8. People in Costa Rica and around the world will sit down with family and friends to observe the age-old ritual of the Passover seder. This ceremonial dinner initiates an eight-day observance marking the deliverance of the people of Israel from bondage in Egypt, as described in the book of Exodus in the Bible.
The Tico Times wishes its readers a wonderful holiday.
